The facts

The truth about our chickens.

There's a lot of misinformation out there. Here are the facts.

You may have seen the claims.

For years, activist campaigns have targeted modern protein production with characterizations that are, frankly, unjustified. We have answered those claims patiently, year after year: our standards meet or exceed every applicable federal and state requirement, our facilities undergo regular third-party audits, and modern production methods are what make it possible to meet consumer demand for affordable poultry.

We are proud of that record. But we've stopped settling for answering claims. We built something better than an answer.

Fact one

Our line is the calmest in the industry.

Autonomous handling is measurably gentler and more consistent than any human line. Stress responses in live inventory are minimized at every stage of the process — and calm inventory means better, more consistent product on every tray. It isn't just the right way to operate. It's the profitable way, and we've never understood why anyone thinks those should be different things.

Fact two

Nothing is hidden. There is simply nothing left to see.

The old debates about our industry were debates about conditions for the people in our facilities and what they witnessed there. We resolved that debate the only way it could be resolved: our facilities have no one in them. Jones Foods has fed American families for six decades. We have nothing to hide — and now, for the first time, nothing anyone has to see.
